Old and new is just behind the back and the new year, is for us as a blank canvas. Full of memories of the past few years, looking ahead on something new. Are combined with new. Like the idea of these paintings that I recently came across. Existing paintings and portraits that halfway dyed, as a modern and new look. A nice topic I found, so at the beginning of 2015.

Actually it’s a very simple idea, but you have to stand up! Find a beautiful painting or portrait at the cycle and remember what color paint look beautiful at fit. This old with new effect you get by with tape to paste a line about the whole painting and below it to dye, or by dipping the entire painting up to a certain point in paint. By an old painting half to dye, you give it a whole new look. Artist Oliver Jeffers has many such paintings created, with black or bright colors. Personally, I think the lower painting, with white paint the most beautiful. I would like to even want to try!
